Summer Swing Concert June 24th

If you’re in the Auburn/Opelika area this summer, I’ve got a fun show coming up.  I’ll be playing at the Summer Swing Concert Series in Opelika on Tuesday, June 24th.  Summer Swing happens every Tuesday night during the summer with free concerts for the community.  I’ve put together a stellar band for this show.  I’ll be accompanied by Josh McKenzie on guitar, Mike Nied on bass and Hunter Jackson on drums.  Hope you can make it to the show.

I’m also very excited to be opening for one of my favorite artists, Kim Richey, in Huntsville on June 21st at The Folk Mission.  This one is going to be quite a thrill for me.

Happy Spring!

Opening Day is here, the weather is warm, the magnolia trees will be coming soon! Spring is my favorite time of year in Auburn. I’ve got a couple local shows coming up to let you know about. Saturday, April 26th is Auburn CityFest at Kiesel Park. I’ll be opening the day at 9:00am. If you’re up that early, come on out and enjoy the day, I’ll be on stage until 10:30, there will be several other bands to follow.
Then on Thursday, May 1st, I’ll be playing the Sundown Concert Series at Town Creek Park from 6:00-7:30pm. Hope to see you soon!

Speaking of springtime and baseball season;

2013 Christmas Concert – December 13th

On Friday, December 13th, I’m very happy to be joining Martha’s Trouble for their annual Christmas show.  Martha’s Trouble have been performing their Christmas show for 8 years, and it is one of my favorite local events.  I’ll be playing a set at this year’s show, and local favorites, Muse, will also be playing that evening.  This concert will be at the Cultural Center of East Alabama in Opelika at 7:30pm on Dec. 13th.

Visit Dave on Social Media

I am working on getting all my social media profiles and sites connected and up and running. It would be a great help to me if you would connect with me on any sites you use and help spread the word. There are links on the right side of the page where you can like my facebook page, follow me on twitter, and subscribe to my youtube channel. I am a few years behind, as I still send out snail mail and emails to let people know about concerts and new music, but I am going to do my best to join the current century and use all these online resources. Thanks for your help and support!
