Friday night June 14th, I’ll be performing at 6:00pm in downtown Auburn as part of the Annual Auburn SummerNight Downtown Art Walk. It is a great night with lots going on for the whole family. There is even a pie bake-off contest! Folk music and pie!
My next concert is Thursday, May 30th at Town Creek Park in Auburn. This show is part of the Sundown Concert Series sponsored by Auburn Parks and Rec. The show is at 6:00pm, with free admission. Bring a lawn chair or blanket to sit on. I’m going to be joined by guitarist Josh McKenzie, this will be the first time he’s joined me on stage, I am very excited about it. As always, I’ve got a few interesting cover songs in store as well as some old DP favorites.
Saturday, April 6th, the Sundilla Acoustic Concert series (www.sundillamusic.com) is partnering with The Overall Co. to bring Sundilla music to Opelika. I’m very excited to be performing at the Overall Company, it is a very cool new venue in the area. They have been bringing in some great music to Opelika, and I’m looking forward to performing there on April 6th.
I’m bringing back the $5 CD Sale through the end of October. 4 of my CD’s are available for just $5 each. ‘One Night In The South’, ‘Days Like These’, ‘County Line Road’ and ‘South Side Diner’. Click here to visit the $5 Sale Page.
I am so appreciative of all the DJ’s around the country (and even a few other countries) who have continued to play my new CD on their radio shows. June marked the 3rd straight month that ‘Live At Sundilla’ has appeared in the Top 40 on the FolkDJ Radio Charts. If you have a local radio station that plays independent music, please show your support for them. Those stations are what allow folks like me to be heard.
There has been a great response from folk radio for the new CD, ‘Live At Sundilla’. The CD was #29 on the Folk DJ Charts for the month of April, and then in May, it moved up to #19! Thanks so much to all the DJ’s who have been playing the new CD.
